Yes, absolutely! Our Wood Fibre Chopping Boards are designed with a non-porous surface, making them a hygienic option for preparing meats such as chicken. The non-porous design helps resist moisture and bacteria build-up, reducing the risk of cross-contamination.

We always recommend practising good food hygiene by thoroughly washing the board and utensils after preparing raw meat or chicken. While using a separate board for raw meats is not strictly necessary due to the hygienic properties of the board, some customers may still prefer to do so for extra peace of mind.

For additional reassurance, our Wood Fibre Chopping Boards are made from 80% compressed pine wood and 20% food-grade resin, and they are FSC certified.
