Are the glass storage food containers airtight?Updated a month ago

Our Glass Food Storage Containers all come with glass bases and glass lids (there is a bamboo lid option for our food storage containers). 

The Glass Food Storage Containers (excluding Pantry Jars, Tallow Jars and Dip Bowls) are airtight - creating a great seal once closed which is perfect for prolonging food in the pantry, fridge and freezer but they're not meant to be tilted, shook or jostled (e.g. inside a bag or travelling).

Helpful Tip: When closing the containers that have vents on the lids, open the vent first, close the container then close the vent. This ensures a vacuum is created within the container to keep food fresh.

Please Note: The silicone seal on our glass lids is not removable and is also attached firmly so nothing can seep inside.
