Glass Food Containers and the FreezerUpdated 5 days ago
Thanks for your interest/purchase of the Glass Food Containers!
These items are freezer safe but please take note of the following safety precautions to ensure the longevity of your containers.
- Leave space when freezing liquids: Liquids expand as they freeze, so it’s important to leave room between the liquid and the lid to prevent the container from cracking.
- Never freeze hot food: Allow food to cool before freezing to prevent thermal shock, which can cause glass to crack or shatter.
- Handle with care: Our glass containers are made from durable borosilicate glass but it's still glass; always handle gently to avoid chips or breaks.
- Thaw slowly in the fridge: Sudden temperature changes can stress the glass. Thawing in the fridge helps prevent cracking.
The Pantry Jars (Newrybar, Tallow and Wategos) are not freezer safe.
