• Leave space when freezing liquids: Liquids expand as they freeze, so it’s important to leave room between the liquid and the lid to prevent the jar from cracking.
• Never freeze hot food: Allow food to cool before freezing to prevent thermal shock, which can cause glass to crack or shatter.
• Handle with care: Our jars are made from durable borosilicate glass but it's still glass; always handle gently to avoid chips or breaks.
• Thaw slowly in the fridge: Sudden temperature changes can stress the glass. Thawing in the fridge helps prevent cracking.
