If it only started recently, could you let us know how the filter has been cleaned so far?

We recommend gently cleaning the filter by placing it in a bowl of warm, soapy water and swishing it side to side. After that, pat it dry and leave it flat in a sunny spot to air dry before putting it back on the lid.

Please avoid squeezing, wringing, twisting, or hanging the filter to dry, as this can cause it to lose its shape. If the filter is misshapen, it might not stay in place properly. In that case, we suggest replacing the filter, which you can find here.
