What's in the CrunchBox range?

The CrunchBox™ OG is our original stainless steel lunch box, with four compartments. The CrunchBox™ 2.0 is a redesign based on years of customer feedback: premium 304 stainless steel, plastic-free and BPA-free, 25% more capacity than the OG, redesigned hinges, a wider easy-grip clip and a brushed finish. Neither box has a detachable lid.

Is the CrunchBox leakproof?

The CrunchBox™ OG isn't leakproof on its own. For yoghurt, dips, sauces or dressings, pair it with our Snack Containers or choose the CrunchBox™ OG Lunch Box | Pots bundle, which includes leak-resistant pots.

The CrunchBox™ 2.0 works with our Silicone Leak-Resistant Seal, a custom-fit insert for wetter foods that you can remove whenever you like.

For the OG, our Split Snack Pot | 200ml fits inside the OG to keep fruit, nuts or treats separate and fresh.

Why is the top right compartment different?

The OG's top right compartment is designed without its own fitted pot. If your set came with an extra pot there, that's a CrunchPot: a container for snacks, dips or yoghurt that also fits in the CrunchCase's outer pocket. For a purpose-built fit, the Split Snack Pot | 200ml is made for that compartment.

Which lunch bags fit the CrunchBox?

  • CrunchCase Lunch Bag: the CrunchBox OG and 2.0 both fit in the main insulated compartment, and the Bento Lunch Box fits in the front pocket. Only the main compartment is insulated, so use the front pocket for smaller, non-perishable items.
  • CrunchBag | 6.5L: designed to fit the CrunchBox 2.0.
  • Roll Top Lunch Bag: fits the CrunchBox 2.0, but snugly. The CrunchCase or CrunchBag is the better fit.

What ice pack fits in your lunch bags?

A slim ice pack saves space and keeps food and drinks cool through the day. Our Stainless Steel Ice Pack fits alongside lunch boxes, snacks and drink bottles in lunch bags, cooler bags and eskies:

  • 304 food-grade stainless steel outer with a water core
  • slim and reusable, an alternative to plastic ice bricks
  • freeze for 3 to 4 hours; cools for up to 5 to 6 hours, depending on the weather
  • LFGB certified

For a quick alternative, fill a Mini Silicone Food Pouch with water, freeze it flat and pop it in your lunch bag. It's leakproof, so no drips as it melts.

Packing tips

Crackers or popcorn packed next to fruit and veggies may go a little soggy. Keep anything you want crunchy in one of our smaller leakproof pots.
