Our glass range covers everyday Food Containers and three Pantry Jar lines: Wategos (round), Tallow (rectangle) and Newrybar (square). All are borosilicate glass with LFGB-certified silicone seals, leak-resistant and stackable. They differ in capacity and shape, not material or quality.
See our Glassware Care Guide for everyday use, temperature limits and cleaning.
Can glass containers go in the freezer?
Glass Food Containers are freezer safe. To protect them:
- leave space when freezing liquids, as they expand and can crack an overfilled container
- never freeze food while it's still hot; sudden temperature changes can crack or shatter glass
- handle gently; borosilicate is tough but still glass
- thaw slowly in the fridge, not at room temperature
The Wategos, Tallow and Newrybar Pantry Jars are not freezer safe.
Are the pantry jars airtight?
They seal well and are made for dry goods like pasta, cereal, flour and grains. We don't recommend them for liquids or long-term airtight storage.
How do I remove stains?
Foods like turmeric, pasta sauce and beetroot can mark containers or lids over time. Soak the stained part in bicarb soda and water for about 2 hours to lift most stains.
Do the containers stack or nest?
Containers of the same size stack neatly, with or without lids. They don't nest inside one another; nesting is a feature of ranges like our Stainless Steel Mixing Bowls and Tufferware Trio.
Can I use glass containers in the air fryer?
Yes, Glass Food Containers can go in the air fryer. Stay within the temperature range in the Care Guide.
Can I buy replacement lids?
Lids for the Glass Containers and our old-style eco-stows aren't sold separately. Our Reusable Stretch Lids are an alternative, though not every size fits.
Do you sell labels for jars?
We don't sell label makers. On glass and silicone we use oil-based or chalk markers, which come off with lemon oil when you want to relabel. For sticky name labels, try @little_label_co on Instagram.
